Once upon a time, a giraffe was born on May 25, 1961, on Saint Sophie's day. At that time, only farm and pet animal toys were available. In France, Monsieur RAMPEAU, an expert in using latex from the HEVEA tree, decided to design a giraffe toy, creating an exotic figure perfect for babies to grasp.
